PUBLISH, in partnership with TokenPost, is pleased to announce the issuance of a new Good Day NFT (non-fungible token) to mark the 75th anniversary of Armed Forces Day.

Armed Forces Day is an annual event usually celebrated on October 1st. It was on this day in 1950, at the height of the Korean War, that South Korean military forces broke through the 38th parallel.

This year the event is scheduled for September 26 in light of the upcoming Chuseok holidays.

The occasion not only marks the 75th anniversary of Armed Forces Day but also the 70th anniversary of the alliance between the Republic of Korea and the United States.

To mark the occasion, the country is set to stage a military parade, the first of its kind since 2013, showcasing over 170 pieces of equipment. This includes those from the ROK Air Force’s special aerobatics team, the Black Eagles, and the Army’s AH-64 Apache helicopters. Additionally, 4,600 soldiers from 24 units of the ROK Armed Forces will participate, alongside approximately 300 members of the US Eighth Army, a first in the parade's history.

Notably, this year will feature a “March with the People,” in which soldiers and citizens will march together from Seoul City Hall to Gwanghwamun Square, accompanied by military bands and mascots representing various military branches.

The "Good Day NFT Campaign" is a joint initiative by PUBLISH and TokenPost, aimed at highlighting significant domestic and international events and holidays through the issuance and distribution of commemorative NFTs and digital artwork.
